BTW, my girlfriend Katherine had a good idea: we should pronounce it "pike-a", and then use this guy as our mascot: 
he seems to embody our "niche" (as opposed to IETF, W3C, etc)!
On the other hand, a "pica" seems to be a neat type of bird:
so maybe that would be cool too.
I like the magpie-birdy. They are beautiful, they fly around in my yard in Berlin sometimes and they are known for stealing shiny things which they love for some reasons. Like a spoon or a ring - putting them on your window-shelf they might take it away. Elster in German, diebische Elster, thiefy pica.
